George’s goal is to help songwriters bring their songs to life. He has a DIY ethos with a focus on indie-folk and indie-rock music. George works with artists writing music for sync and composes production music.

George’s first recording projects were made bouncing tracks between a boom box cassette deck and his dad’s reel-to-reel tape machine. From there, he moved on to 4-track cassette decks and ultimately found his way into professional recording studios throughout Northern California’s Central Valley and the Bay Area.

George has played in various bands throughout the years, including Bay Area-based Upstairs Downstairs. Currently, he writes songs for his solo project Aorist and for the band & (Ampersand). 

An interest in improving his songwriting skills led him down a path of focused study and exploration over the past five years. All this has added a new level of experience and appreciation for songwriters honing their craft.

George is producing, writing, recording, and living in the Paris of Appalachia: Pittsburgh, PA.
